UP Police Recruitment 2020: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued an important notice regarding the offline written examination to be held for the recruitment of 5085 posts of Jail Warder, Mounted Police Reserve and Fire Department. This written examination will be held on December 19, 2020 and December 20, 2020. The board has said in the latest notice that this recruitment examination will be held at 401 examination centers in Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Meerut, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad. The notice states that soon the admit card of the examination will be issued on uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates keep checking the website from time to time.

Under this recruitment, direct recruitment was released for 3012 posts of male prison warders and 626 posts of female jail warders, 102 posts of constables in cavalry police and 2065 posts of firemen in fire department.

The board had earlier planned to conduct recruitment exams in September but it was delayed due to Corona epidemic.

Selection Process
The written examination will be of 300 marks in which there will be multiple choice questions. There will be negative marking. Successful candidates in the written examination will be called for examination of the documents and physical efficiency test (PET). Merit list will be made on the basis of marks obtained in written examination of successful candidates in PET. No waiting list will be released.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has started the process of recruitment of 18912 posts in Police. Its examination will be conducted in the coming months. The maximum number of 9534 posts are of Police Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander PAC and Fire Officer II. Chairman of the board RK Vishwakarma said that the direct recruitment of 9534 posts of Police Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander PAC and Fire Officer and 1329 posts of Police Sub Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Police Sub Inspector (Clerk) and Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts). The action for the selection of the executive body has been completed. The MoU has been sent to the government for approval. The program of examination will be released after approval.
