Nikita murder case trial will start from Nov 23 in fast track court

Trial of Nikita Tomar murder in Special Fast Track Court of Faridabad will start from 23 November. The court on Tuesday dismissed the plea of ​​the counsel for the accused party to complete the investigation. The court also rejected the plea to transfer the accused to Bhondsi jail. However, the court has not yet ruled on the plea of ​​the police to re-examine the 2018 case.

According to the information, the case was transferred to a special fast track court on 12 November to get speedy punishment to the accused in the Nikita Tomar murder case in Ballabhgarh, Faridabad. This case is to be heard everyday in fast track court.

Faridabad Police has arrested two people named Tausif and Rehan in this murder case. Tausif is the main accused. Apart from this, the police have also arrested Azru, who provided arms to Tausif. Nikita’s family has demanded capital punishment for the main accused.

Let us tell that Nikita Tomar, a student returning home with her friend after taking exams from Aggarwal College in Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, was shot dead by the main accused Tausif outside the college gate. His partner Rehan was also involved in carrying out this incident. Both the accused escaped from the car after committing the crime. On receiving information about the incident, a case was registered in the police station Ballabhgarh under sections of murder and Arms Act. Police have arrested a total of three people besides Tausif and Rehan in this murder case. The third accused, Ajaruddin, had provided arms to Tausif, the main accused in the murder.

Tausif belongs to the influential family

The main accused Tausif belongs to a political influential family. Tausif’s grandfather Kabir Ahmed has been an MLA, while uncle Khurshid Ahmed has been a former Haryana minister. At the same time, another relative (brother in relationship) Aftab Ahmed is currently an MLA from Noonh (Mewat) of Congress. The 21-year-old Tausif is pursuing a physio therapist who is in the third year. The second accused involved in the incident is Rehan resident of Rewasan district Nuh and is a friend of Tausif.

After this incident, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that he will not allow anyone to be bullied in the Nikita murder case in Ballabhgarh. With this, Vij had said that the accused in this case would be heard in the fast track court. He had said that under the influence of Congress leaders 2 years ago, the police had compromised the families, but now they will not allow such bullying.
